Please welcome Amy Tucker as the Director of Human Resources. Amy brings her strong human resources background and blend of experiences held within privately owned manufacturing companies to affect positive change. She enjoys most working closely with individuals to set and achieve goals that encompass integrity, organizational values, and growth. Amy has enormous passion and proven ability to balance HR infrastructures, to include policy & procedure development, talent management, strategic planning, total rewards, employee relations, performance management, safety, and quality assurance initiatives that support hands-on execution, big picture thinking, and an inclusive culture.

Amy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University, specializing in Human Resources & holds her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, through the HR Certification Institute. This formal education has supported Amy to combine decisiveness, strong business acumen, and her passion to achieve objectives both professionally and personally.

Amy and her husband Andy are both Jackson natives who reside in the northern part of the county. Recently they built their dream home on a golf course which is their favorite hobby; in addition to downhill skiing, traveling, and following the Detroit Tigers!
She is excited to join the Vista Grande Villa family and looking forward to assisting in the sustainability and growth of VGV, while fostering our mission to enrich the lives of those we serve and core values of service, excellence, and teamwork.
