Dear Ms. Eisele,

My mother, Mary Dewey, came to an independent apartment at Vista Grande Villa in October 2014. She was 90 years old and had been living independently in her home. We suspected that she was showing signs of dementia, and knew that she needed more support in her daily living. We purchased the Life Care Plan for her. She recently passed away in the Health Center after several years of declining health due to dementia.

I would like to thank you for the wonderful care my mother received at Vista. Before she moved to Vista, I researched all the care facilities in the Jackson area. I concluded that the Vista Grande facilities and Life Care Plan were the most advantageous. It has been a blessing to have my mother cared for at Vista. I always felt that her care was important to all of the employees in the Health Center. She had a very attractive room, and when my husband and I traveled, I knew that my mother was safe and treated well.

There are two caregivers in the Health Center that I would like to recognize for their outstanding compassion and professional care. When I heard that my mother was being moved to a private room with male Cenas, I was concerned. However, Ed and Ryan have been wonderful with my mother. They knew how to encourage her and relate to her. Their gentleness and kindness are commendable. My mother loved them and trusted them. Ed and Ryan became an important part of our family, too. We will miss them very much. I would like to have this letter placed in their professional file.

We are very thankful for our experience with the Vista Health Center. The staff has been a blessing to our family, and we feel that we were able to give my mother the best care.
