What is Memory Care?

Memory care is designed to provide a secure and structured home for older adults living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Residents living in the memory care neighborhood at Vista Grande receive daily support from our professionally trained, caring staff, easing the burden on family caregivers and maintaining residents’ dignity.

Our memory care community has been helping seniors from Jackson, Mason, Marshall, Lansing, Grass Lake, and south-central Michigan for over 50 years.

Innovative Memory Care Program

Our custom, new memory care program, ASAP, equips caregivers to serve your loved one’s individual needs. We build meaningful relationships with them and ensure their environment supports and celebrates their capabilities.
Safety and Security

We work hard to ensure residents remain happy and healthy without worrying about safety or security. Our residents live in private apartments, sharing secure common spaces that allow them to socialize in a comforting, calm atmosphere.

Awakening the Subconscious of the Alzheimer’s Patient (ASAP) program combines habilitative care with sensory influencers that allow the Alzheimer’s patient to experience the positive feelings and emotions that have been stored with in their subconscious for many years.
