Each year on November 11, Vista Grande Villa proudly observes Veterans Day, a time to honor the service and sacrifice of all past and present U.S. military veterans.  Originally known as Armistice Day to commemorate the end of World War I in 1918, the holiday became Veterans Day in 1954 to recognize all who have served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

At Vista Grande Villa, Veterans Day holds significant meaning. Each November, we host events and ceremonies to honor the veterans who call our community home. Residents, staff, and family members gather for flag displays, tributes, and moments of reflection that allow veteran residents to share their stories and experiences.
